For creativity in design themes, it should be supported background flv, avi, gif, and the possibility of placing a second or third shots on / in the list of roms.

Hi This is the first front end I''m trying out and I''m pretty impressed so far (well apart from the slow speed). I''m using it for my big screen Plasma. I decided to go to the full version. I still haven''t configure MAME yes, but will soon. I''m currently working with 3rd party emulators and trying to configure them so that I never have to use the keyboard again. Just to let you know, the SmartJoy Duel Plus adapter with playstation 2 controllers and the CyberLink remote controll works flawlessly! I was wondering if you can recommend nice slick looking movable skin, maybe something in red. Thank you Renier RSA

I just want to say that I love gameex. I have a Cab running it now. And it is the greatest. Now I am about to build a HTPC for my family room. I will load my Emu''s/Roms, but mostly for running our movies. I like how it loads the DVD covers. My thought was it would be cool to have a trailer feature. Where it would show the trailer like the video snaps for the games. It may already have this? But I don''t know? And are their any features to support Blu-Ray players? Just thinking inside the Box (HTPC Box that is)

There''s a bug in your setup installer. When it detects a newer version of Media Player in XP....it says so then just exits.

Just a quick note to the designer of Game Ex. I have just rebuilt my cabinet PC after a long period in storage, copied all my files from the archive, reinstalled game ex, applied my registry licence file and now spending the evening doing a slow reconfigure of your beautiful front end. What a lovely piece of software this really is. Thank you for coming up with an application which really does what it says it can do. If anyone asks when they need a mame front end, gameex is the only choice :) Regards Jim

Have you experienced Xbox Live? I think GameEx is very close to being able to provide a similar experience. Friends lists, voice chat, game invites, and integrated online play. Gamex already passes values to emulators via command line. Gamex already has support for Usernames that show up on GameEx Live. http://www.gameex.net/Community/Live/tabid/56/Default.aspx 1) Chat/ Friend lists: Create a friend list of GameEx users. Configure each user''s contact information. (MSN, Skype, E-mail, ) Integrate Skype or similar for chat. Contacting your GameEx friends becomes easy. 2) Online play Some emulators such as snes9x already have online play support. if the IP was a part of the friend list configuration (so you''d know the IP for each user, you could send a friend an invite, once they accept pass the values in to Snes9x and start the rom in multiplayer. for emulators that don''t naively support online multiplayer you could use: http://www.kaillera.com/ they have sour
